Most costly misalignment doesn’t come from a lack of intelligence or effort. It comes from making high-stakes decisions inside an incomplete frame—optimizing for the wrong variable, inheriting someone else’s definition of success, or chasing validation rather than coherence.

This becomes most dangerous at threshold moments, when a choice simultaneously implicates identity, direction, and long-term consequences. At these points, the usual signals stop working. Credentials, consensus, and analysis accumulate, but uncertainty thrashes precisely because the real parameters of the choice have not been named.

My work reveals those parameters: the unspoken incentives shaping the field, the identity pressures distorting the narrative, the values in tension, and the constraints the system itself cannot easily acknowledge.
